happy hallooween

we decided to make a tradition out of what started with an excuse to force dress him in a bat costume last year and had another halloween party at ours.

as everyone expected me to dress him in a ridiculous costume i thought i'll surprise everyone and keep it low... since his scar on his forehead is still quite red anyways it was the perfect recondition to turn him into harry potter. needless to say that he didn't wear the glasses for more than 3 seconds and i couldn't even get one good picture of him...

october where have you gone...?

oh dear... what felt like a few days i didn't pay any attention to the blog turns out to be more than a month... where has the time gone???

although it's a bit lame, i'll pack the highlights of october in one blogpost. here we go:

as last year we went to the pumpkin patch. unfortunately the weather was quite grim but pea enjoyed it nevertheless. also the cute rain coat from granma was used for the first time. he could've sat on the little tractor all day and was not a happy bunny when he had to leave it...

after that granma and grampa came for a visit! although it was only a weekend stay we made the most of it. we went for long walks and pea was fascinated by grampas walking stick and wouldn't let it go. it's always so nice when we get to spend time together and always so sad to say goodbye! but fortunately we will be over in the uk soon to celebrate christmas...!

waiting at the airport...

on another day we went to the petting zoo with nani. pea thought it was all so exciting and exhausting that he fell asleep while having his dinner. we couldn't stop laughing and hardly handle all the cuteness!

chris was abroad for business quite some time so we decided to go to the mountains for a week of pure family time. it was the perfect week as we went from really warm autumn days to snow... we enjoyed every minute of long walks, swimming in the warm outdoor pool and cuddling like there is no manana...

all in all october was a really nice month with loads of sunshine and great weather. we spent a lot of time outside enjoying a beautiful indian summer.

thank you october, you were good to us!
